AUDAC introduces the column speaker “AXIR”,
an all-round column speaker with an extraordinary
sound and a surprisingly high power.
The AXIR is designed to be used in all applications
where audibility of music and speech is very
important, like auditoria, churches, meeting and
board rooms, etc.
It features a double 6 x 2” speaker section. Both
speaker sections have an individual adjustable
power tap for 20 W, 10 W, 5 W and 2,5 W. These
can be selected with a recessed adjuster screw
behind the speakers cover.
This allows us to set the speaker’s power between
40 W and 5 W in 100V applications, and to change
the speaker’s polar pattern.
By adjusting the upper and lower power taps
individual, the sound carriage lenght can be
adapted to each specific situation.
There’s also an 6 Ohm option, which is controllable
by an internal switch inside the speaker.
The AXIR has a surprisingly powerful output but
with a state-of-the art audio quality.
The AXIR features an aluminum housing, making
it a light weight column speaker of approximately
4 Kg.
For mounting the AUDAC AXIR, a specially
designed wall bracket is included, which makes it
possible to focus the speaker in any direction, to
obtain the best possible audibility.
Available in white (AXIR/W) and black (AXIR/B).
